Responsibility and sustainability
Our clients want a working environment that brings tangible benefits to People and the Planet.
Achieving excellence also means ensuring that all the steps we take to deliver for our customers are carried out in the most sustainable way possible:
-
providing sustainable office products,
-
ensuring ethics and compliance in all the countries where our suppliers operate,
-
minimising packaging,
-
developing environmentally-friendly process from ordering to delivery to product end-of-life

Worldwide certifications
Trust and clarity are essential to meeting our customers' environmental expectations and requirements for the highest quality.
The Lyreco group uses the recognised international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 across its 15 subsidiaries in 25 countries for its Integrated Management System.
In 2012, ISO 26000, the SGS guideline for Corporate Social Responsibility, was adopted.

Sustainable and ethical sourcing
We require our suppliers and Lyreco product manufacturers to fully respect Environmental, Labour and Human Rights. Sustainability and ethics in the supply chain are therefore key principles of the Lyreco CSR Strategy.
To ensure that our responsibility and sustainability standards are constantly met, the group QSS team audits yearly and directly on-site our Lyreco product manufacturing partners.
These assessments and audits use as a framework:
- SMETA (SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit) 4 pillars: Labour, Health & Safety, Environment and Business Ethics
- BSCI
- Lyreco Vigilance Plan and Purchasing Policy
