Lyreco is an exclusive distributor of Nespresso Professional products and services in several European countries. The relationship with Nespresso is a longstanding partnership, which is based on exclusive distribution agreements that originally started 1997 in Switzerland.

Lyreco manages its Nespresso distribution business through the Nespresso Business Unit. The international Business Unit reports directly to the CEO and oversees six different markets: Switzerland, UK, Ireland, Hungary, Poland, and Norway.

Business Development Manager (m/w/d) Nespresso Business Unit  ​

Location: Dietikon / Home Office, travelling 30-40%

Reporting to the Business Unit Director, the Business Development Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to grow the business in a wide range of areas: strategic, commercial, operational, and financial

Your tasks

  • Maintain and reinforce the current relationship with Nespresso in close collaboration with the key people on the market and within Lyreco Group
  • Drive the acquisition and implementation of new Nespresso distribution agreements, working together with markets, Lyreco Group and Nespresso
  • Collaborate with Lyreco Group departments to design and roll-out of processes and tools to support the growth of the Business Unit
  • Works closely the markets to improve the business’ efficiency (financial, operational, commercial)
  • Develop a B2B coffee break solution strategy for Europe and improve our marketing intelligence
  • Expand your network within the B2B coffee and catering industry
  • Organize international BU meetings and help develop a coffee spirit within the BU
     

Your profile

  • University degree in a commercial / business economical field
  • International business experience in the B2B Food sector, preferably in the sector of coffee
  • Proven track record in a commercial position (BD, PM, Sales)
  • French and English (business fluent); German is an asset
  • Strong in communication on C-Level with excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills
  • Good project management and coordinating skills  
  • Willingness to travel within Europe
