As a Product Manager, you are responsible for the commercial development of a designated product area managing a range of products and suppliers to achieve Corporate goals. Your challenges are: Drive the product and business-planning process across cross-functional teams of the company, Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments, analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re successful achieved, appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate to-market plans.


  • Responsibility of Office products;

  • Analyze consumer needs, current market trends

  • Define the strategy on your product range in line with Corporate goals taking into account the Group decisions;

  • Participate to Group product selection process and support/challenge Group decisions through their implementation;

  • Analyze results (sales, margin, evolution, promotions…) of your product range;

  • Negotiate with suppliers the buying conditions (Cost price, payment terms);

  • Work with your supplier partners to ensure Lyreco gains ‘’first to market’’, and ‘’Exclusive’’ Product ranges that drives competitive advantage in your market place.

  • Optimize spending and maximize supplier’s contributions (promotional actions, sales advertisements pages in the catalogues...) and organize the payment follow up;

  • Develop ‘’better buying’’ solutions without compromising our strict quality or service guidelines, continuously aiming to drive out cost.

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth

  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies in order to reach turnover and margin goals, taking into account competition analysis;

  • Determine lay-out and follow-up of promotional programs (on line & below the line);

  • Work with your Supply Chain team to drive best in class in bound Supplier Service, and OTIF levels.

  • Cooperate with finance (accruals for rebates and marketing funds)

  • Cooperate with Sales Force: SMB & Corporate Accompaniments to obtain customer feedback concerning our Sales Proposition;

  • Sales meetings to tackle competition, presentations for sales, trainings, sales days, yearly convention etc

  • Work on other projects as agreed with the Office & Technology Category Manager.


  • University degree, preferably in Marketing, Economics or Business Administration;

  • Fluent in Italian and English;

  • 2-3 years of experience in Marketing or in Sales Area is an asset;

  • Deep Knowledge of Mass Market

  • Excellent negotiating skills;

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;

  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure;

  • commitment and motivation to achieve goals and live up to expectations

  • Available to travel;

  • PC literate (Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, SAP).
