HR Business Partner (hybrid)

Lyreco Management is the holding for the Lyreco group, with head offices in Marly (north France), Gdansk, Amsterdam & Dordrecht.

We are looking for a dynamic and curious HR generalist with strong administrative skills and a good knowledge of Dutch HR regulations to be the go-to person for all HR needs for our professional and international team.

Do you like to work at home? No problem, in addition to working at the office (partly in Dordrecht and partly in Amsterdam), you get the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week on a full-time basis.

You will have a wide range of operational topics to cover, with the support of a senior HR Director located in Dordrecht, to guide you on any complex situations. You will also be working closely with a payroll agency & have the support of a payroll specialist in this same sister company.


We have a 2 day a week FlexWork policy; however, to create a working relationship with the staff onsite, we would expect you to be in Amsterdam at least 2 days per week. We are looking for a full-time team member but 4 days a week could also be envisaged (with one day remote).



Key responsibilities

  • As a HR generalist, you will ensure that all administrative HR processes run smoothly: correspondence, contract management, new hires onboarding process, relocation, 30% ruling, annual bonus plan, (digital) archiving

  • Health and safety, absenteeism management, employee and manager support with long term sick leave, contact with occupational health and safety service, health and safety regulations and projects.

  • Delivering reports (monthly HR reporting and statistics preparation on absence statistics, employee turnover etc.)

  •  Support payroll administration (ADP)

  • Handbook and company policy maintenance

  • Employee lifecycle management, adapting and implementing group policies regarding recruitment, onboarding / offboarding, employee consultations, annual processes, benefits, learning and development, performance management, regular meetings etc.

  • Assist with the good usage of our HR tool, Workday

  • Provide support and service in compensation activities such as market data, salary surveys, job evaluation, annual salary administration and bonus development and payout activities

  • Ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant legislation

  • Ensuring legal and GDPR compliance

  • Participation on various HR projects, events and initiatives

  • Working closely together with the teams in Marly (France) and Gdansk (Poland) regarding Lyreco Management general HR topics.


Required personal profile, qualifications and skills

  • A bachelor degree in HR, law or economics

  • Good knowledge of Dutch employment law is a must

  • Fluent level of English and Dutch language (both written and spoken)

  • Positive “can do” attitude and outstanding team orientation

  • Structured working approach & attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to self-organize and prioritize

  • PC usage proficiency (mainly in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint)

  • Experience with ADP and Workday is a big plus
