Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an International Account Manager to join the Lyreco Team and we are now looking for a strategic and analytical account manager for our international business! ​

The successful candidate will be capable of demonstrating major account ownership and with the seniority of the role the opportunity to grow and develop a future career path exists within the company.

As a Strategic International Account Manager, you will join an already successful sales team in a fast-growing company where you would be responsible for achieving International Account targets.

Your new role is to

Achieve the targets set by Lyreco for managing and developing the sales, profitability, and contractual compliance throughout all subsidiaries of an agreed portfolio of SCAN led International customers, with an average annual spend of €1m and:

  • ​Retaining Existing Customers
  • Broadening Trading with Existing Customers
  • Deliver Sales and Margin Targets.
  • Relationship Management ​
  • Stakeholder management both at Lyreco and at the customer

Who are you?

In order to be successful in this role, you will come from a strong sales background and have robust account management skills gained within a B2B and international environment (min 4 years’ experience). You will need to be a strategic thinker with proven interpersonal skills who is able to understand and solve customer requirements.

At the same time, the following qualifications will be prioritized:

  • Experience in planning and implementing a sales strategy within your account and portfolio to increase revenue and gross margins.
  • Confident in analysing and manipulating sales data
  • P&L understanding and report writing skills along with excellent analytical, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Proven background of exceeding goals and revenue expectations.
  • Speak, read, and write English at business level (one of the Scandinavian languages is a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree as minimum and preferably within business

It is essential that you can work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus, productivity, and meeting deadlines. In addition, this role also requires that you can be flexible and quickly adapt to new situations, while working effectively under pressure.

Understanding of the Swedish and Norwegian culture is a plus and preferably located in Sweden or Norway but not a prerequisite, which is why Copenhagen region is also possible.

​As this role is covering a wide region you need to be willing to travel on a regular basis but can expect to work from home when you are not visiting customers.
