Commercial Data Analyst

Reporting directly to Business Data Manager, the Commercial Data Analyst uses data to figure out business trends. She/He will be responsible for providing appropriate reports, insights and recommendations on improving the effectiveness to the entire organization with particular focus on Customers and Logistics.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Analyze data base and results
  • Make recommendations on possible actions and changes to working practises based on analysis in line with Group validation
  • Locate and define new process improvement or sales operational change opportunities
  • Evaluate the operational impacts by defining and measuring KPIs to follow up the operational performance from a financial and commercial perspective
  • Provide ongoing reports to follow up the Company Commercial performance to Sales Directors, Sales Representatives and local Sales Management Team
  • Responsible for data acquisition and maintenance, quality control of local databases
  • Filter and “clean” data, review reports, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems
  • Evaluate customers’ needs, customers potential, market size and market share per segment
  • Customer Segmentations
  • Investigate market growth perspective per segment and define sales prevision
  • Analyze the company competitive environment and follow up/benchmark competitors’ results
  • Support SMT to define the strategy and implementation in line with Group validation
  • Manage project(s) to improve customers’ insight collection, usage and effectiveness of sales organisation

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Working experience in data analysis
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge with reporting & Business Intelligence packages (PowerBI, DAX Language)
  • SAP, SQL & statistics, geomarketing knowledge
  • Python is a plus
  • Professional English
  • Superior proficiency in Excel
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • University degree, preferably in Economics
  • Professional English
  • Business oriented
  • Working experience in sales organizations as a plus
  • Experience on Customer segments process is a plus
  • Project management skills
