Senior Data Analyst (Customer & Sales Experience)

Senior Data Analyst navigates complex data to extract complete and accurate insights supporting strategic and operational business decisions. Senior Data Analyst leads analytical projects supporting various areas of business and identifies opportunities to automate/improve processes and strategy. An important part of the role is to design and create key analysis and recommendations.

Responsibilities: 

  • Performs analysis on existing customer, sales, transactional and web data and identifies business opportunities and challenges focusing on customer experience
  • Manages full analysis cycle – from data analysis, through presenting conclusions until influencing others on the execution of new strategy in the business
  • Develops a thorough understanding of the  goals and issues, interprets business needs into data and analytical requirements, and then to analytical/reporting solutions
  • Leads analytical projects supporting various areas of business (especially Customer Experience)  
  • Provides recommendations for key stakeholders based on analysed data
  • Acts as subject matter experts when it comes to KPI, data, data sources
  • Partners with key stakeholders for enabling self-service analytics and reporting and provide support in getting data, creating reports
  • Supports in identifying data integrity and quality issues, ensures accuracy, completeness, and consistency of incoming data from multiple sources
  • Runs and distribute key reports to relevant stakeholders
  • Provides training on reports, data
  • Supports and trains junior Analysts
  • Provides ad-hoc support for projects and initiatives where problem-solving and/or analytical skills are needed

  • Collects and clearly understands business requirements for analysis as well as reports/dashboards
  • Solves business problems by data analysis and exploration leading to valuable insights
  • Automates standardized reports and ensures reports are up to quality standards
  • Provides commentary/presentation on the insights derived from analyses
  • Ensures users are trained and informed on key reports
  • Collects quality data for ad-hoc purposes
  • Monitors overall data quality in databases and reports, reporting issues to appropriate teams
  • Develops new data solutions & tools for benefit of team & company
  • Provides training & guidance to less experienced members of the team

Knowledge, skills & experience :
 

  • 5+ year experience working in data related field, experience working as a data analyst leveraging BI would be an advantage
  • Experience working as Data Analyst supporting Customer & Sales Experience is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); VBA knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Good SQL knowledge
  • Python, Hive is a plus
  • Working knowledge of POWER BI is a plus
  • Ability to conduct research for data and reporting issues as required
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in presenting results and insights to various level employees
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
