Group Financial Controller (H/F) CDI

Your missions:

 Your main responsibilities are:

  • controlling of Central Companies (Lyreco Management Marly/Amsterdam/Gdansk) (reporting and budget)
  • supporting Group functions in financial assessment of key Group projects
  • reference person at Lyreco Management for finance processes

   Main Accountabilities

Controlling of Lyreco Management Companies

Lyreco Management is the consolidation of 3 entities based at Marly (France), Amsterdam (Nederland) and Gdansk (Poland).

Lyreco Management gathers Information System for the whole Group as well as all group functions such as Group Finance department, Group Marketing, Group Logistic, Group Commercial, Group HR...

  • You will manage the monthly reporting (Group Business Brochure) and annual budget process of Lyreco Management which are strongly impacted by 2 key specificities:
    • Lyreco Management is driving key Group projects and as such reporting/budget is linked to the Strategic Plan of the Group
    • Some of these key projects have a big IT impact and as such need to be integrated in Lyreco Management reporting/budget
  • You manage an IT Controller who will assist you in reporting and budget production; this employee is based at Gdansk.
  • You communicate group procedures within Lyreco Management organization and make sure they are applied; you propose new procedure and improve current ones to make sure risks are mastered and minimized.
  • You are the reference person for commitment expenses (processes, training, tool).

Financial assessment of key Group projects

Linked to the specificities mentioned above, you will be the reference person at Lyreco Management for building the financial assessment of key projects: during the pre-project phase (business case required to submit project to top management validation) as well as follow up once the project is launched.

You will assist Group departments in identifying costs and benefits of the project in order to provide a Return on Investment (RoI) and summarizing assumptions and results of your analysis in a document which will be the basis of Top management’s validation. You will also follow-up the costs of the projects during the fiscal year and during the life of the projects.

   Qualifications and Skills

Mastery of the financial mechanisms, especially in accounting

A first experience (3-4 years) in controlling, audit or accounting is required

Very good communication (verbal and writing)

Aptitude to conduct discussions and debates with top management

Sense of confidentiality and objectivity

Excellent practice of English, French is a plus

Good knowledge in the use of Excel, Word and Powerpoint, SAP is a plus

Position can be based either in Marly or in Gdansk, will require travel between the two sites
