DESCRIPTION


Reporting directly to the Finance Director the ideal candidate is responsible for the management and optimization of the Credit Department.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Support management in developing the business strategy
• Manage and optimize the Credit Department
• Maximize cash collection and improve customer ageing
• Manage the customer credit risk and re-negotiate the credit limit payment terms when required
• Provide appropriate key indicators and reports to the management
• Ensure compliance with the Group policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with the relevant local accounting, tax and corporate laws
• Treasury management
• Manage relations with customers, collection agents and lawyers
• Optimize the communication, collaboration and flow of information with other departments
• Management of the Credit Department team and coaching and development of each team member’s competencies in order to optimize their evolution in their function
• Manage overdue invoices, doubtful and lost receivables
• Training of sales staff on credit policies and procedures
• Personally visit customers to establish relations in agreement with sales manager
• As business partner you will optimize collaboration and sharing information with other departments to achieve business objectives

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Our aim is to meet people who are organized, confident to work with numbers and process and have a strong attitude for interpersonal relationships and a great commercial sensitivity.
The person we are looking for must have a proven track record of at least three years at managerial level working on numbers preferably in multinational corporations or large national realities with wide-ranging international environment. The ideal candidate must have coordinated a working group both in terms of objectives and process with a view to continuous improvement.
The candidate will interface with the Board of Directors of the subsidiary Italy, with Headquarter and with the representatives of various business divisions, must therefore possess excellent communication skills and sharpness at various levels.
Reliability, accuracy, timeliness, transparency and the strong attitude towards taking responsibility definitely complete the profile.
We require a fluent knowledge of English and excellent ownership of the main computer tools. Appreciated will be the knowledge of SAP.
