Head of Sales PPE Belux

What does your day look like?

Reporting to the Country Sales Director, you will be responsible for achieving ambitious Sales and Margin targets and setting, along with the Country Sales Director, the business development goals in Belux for the PPE segment.

Your main goal will be to develop rapidly our turnover and market penetration in Belgium and Luxembourg for this segment while improving our profitability (lowest selling opex) with still a high potential of new business opportunities, creating new customers to grow our business will be an important task.

You will directly manage a team of Account Managers PPE.

  • He/she defines and implements, according to Lyreco  Group strategic plan and guidelines the most appropriate yearly commercial strategy to grow  Belux PPE business

  • Set and achieve ambitious annual Sales & Margin targets for the Belux PPE business

  • Set budget for Belux and align with colleagues

  • Manage the sales processes by continuously improving its daily efficiency and productivity

  • Optimize the collaboration and flow of information between your business line and all departments in the company

  • Management and coaching of direct reports

  • Follow up of the business development via precise Key Performance Indicators

  • Coaching of team members in order to improve their competencies and optimize their development in their function/career

  • He/she represents Belux PPE segment to external business working group with approval of the manager

  • Keep contacts with customers, prospects and suppliers

  • He/she demonstrates the Belux PPE segment added value in the value chain, by maintaining strong relationship with Tier I strategic suppliers in order to contribute with the sourcing team to maximize suppliers rebates

  • Keep up-to-date with the PPE market evolution in terms of customers and competitive presence

  • Develop your organization, recruit and select personnel in collaboration with internal stakeholders

  • Member of the Middle Management Team

Who are we looking for?

  • University degree (commercial or economic) or equivalent by experience

  • First class leadership, top people management, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

  • The ability to build a go-to-market strategy on short and long-term, and prioritize accordingly

  • Astute business awareness and the ability to drive results by maximizing opportunity, potential and the abilities of people

  • Relevant successful experience in PPE business, proven track record on management level 

  • Relevant competencies: Agility, communication , customer oriented, result oriented, teamwork & collaboration, analytical and problem solving skills, commercial awareness, creativity, impact & influence, negotiating power, entrepreneurship, coaching and leadership.

  • Advanced communication skills and capacity to convince internally and externally

  • Capacity to decide  based on facts and listening and to interact with many different levels

  • Fluent in English. Dutch or French as mother tongue (knowledge of the other language is an asset)
