The context

At Lyreco, sustainability has been a very high focus for years. With our new Global Strategy, (GREAT26), we increased even more the ambition for Lyreco to become a sustainable company. Planet, People and Progress are key focus to keep delivering to our customers “A GREAT WORKING DAY”.  

One of our commitments is to reduce our Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions on all scopes in line with the Paris Agreement.

In 2021, we have changed our GHG accounting methodology to one that complies with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and we have submitted our GHG reduction targets to the Science-based Target Initiative in June 2022 (they are currently being reviewed by SBTI). 

Main Responsibilities:
  • Be the owner of the Lyreco Group GHG accounting methodology, improving it.

  • Lead a project of estimating Lyreco’s Products Carbon Footprint.

  • Prepare and deliver trainings for stakeholders regarding CO2 (e.g. SBTI, GHG, etc.).

  • Coordinate the Group GHG accounting with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Improve the level of granularity of Lyreco’s GHG accounting & create a roadmap for supplier engagement target.

  • Lead the project of Products carbon footprint.

  • Train people regarding CO2.

Qualifications & skills:
  • 3-4 years' experience in GHG accounting (knowledge required - GHG protocol standard methodology and/or ISO 14064, and ISO 14040 on LCAs).

  • 3 years of project management experience independently running projects with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Knowledge about other ESG topics (Circular economy, CSRD, SDGS) is also advisable.

  • Fluent English.

  • You are straight to the point and you have a talent to simplify complex topics.

  • You can pitch and convince different populations (customers, employees, shareholders)

  • You are future facing and you have a positive attitude

  • You are resilient and take your energy in achieving big things, no matter how difficult is the journey.

Working environment

 

You will report to the Group Sustainability Director and work regularly with international colleagues. To increase its level of action, the group sustainability team has members in two different sites: Valenciennes (France) and Gdańsk (Poland).  

You will get the opportunity to travel to different Lyreco countries to work with local managers.
