Corporate Credit Controller

Telford

Salary – Up to £22,500 per annum (DOE)

Hours of Work – Monday to Friday (3 days in the office, option of 2 days' work from home)

We have an opportunity arisen to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Telford.  You would be joining a vibrant, friendly team who not only work together but enjoy time out of work together as well.  This team is led by a supportive manager, and you would be buddied up with an experienced member of the team, who will teach you all you need to know to be a success in the role.

As a Corporate Credit Controller your responsibilities are:

  • Liaise with customers via telephone and email to resolve overdue accounts
  • Work with an assigned account base to maximise collection of monies owed
  • To maintain accurate records of the collection process
  • To work with customers to identify reasons for late payments and work with them to resolve
  • To minimise bad debts within assigned account base
  • To work closely with the sales department to resolve issues raised

The ideal Corporate Credit Controller will:

  • Self-Motivated and enthusiastic with a desire to excel in a Finance environment.
  • Must enjoy working as part of a team
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Computer literate, particularly in the use of, Excel and Word.
  • Ability to plan and organise own workload.
  • Ability to work to targets in a fast-moving busy environment.
  • Be able to establish and build rapport with customers.
  • SAP knowledge desirable (not essential)
