RPA Specialist for Design and Development of Automation Robots

Under the responsibility of the GroupIS Innovation Manager within the GroupIS Innovation Department, you will be joining a team whose objective is to bring value to our customers (Subsidiaries and Group) by automating a lot of manual Business processes and by allowing the reallocation of related Business resources to higher value-added tasks.

Based on the CIGREF position detailed below, as a Designer Developer you will have to manage the main following tasks :

  • Technical and functional analysis of backlog requests (user stories)

  • Develop, setup and test application software components

  • Support and maintenance in terms of both bug fixes and evolutions

This, in compliance with the company best practices, standards and procedures.

The candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in RPA solutions:

  • Automation Anywhere

  • Blue Prism

  • UiPath (++)

  • Microsoft Power Automate/Power Apps

  • Others...

Like all members of the department, the Designer Developer will have to dedicate time to technology watch, self-learning / e-learning and sharing within the department on topics such as IoT, AI, Chatbot, robotics...

3.2 Designer Developer

MISSION

Within the project team, the Designer Developer contributes to the analysis, development, setup and testing of the application software components in compliance with the standards and procedures.

ACTIVITIES AND TASKS

The Designer Developer is involved in the implementation of new or existing applications.

Analysis

  • Contributes to the definition of general specifications

  • Handle both functional and technical and study analysis

  • Adapt and setup the application software packages

  • Manage prototypes

Development

  • Build modules (objects and software components)

  • Assemble components

  • Write documentation

Qualification

  • Develops the test cases for the integration unit tests

  • Performs unit tests

  • Identifies and treats malfunctions

Go-Live

  • Prepare all elements related to the delivery of the solution in Production

  • Write related users guides

  • Train the end-users to the solution

Support & Maintenance

  • Participate as active member to the RPA Community (code reviews, pair-programming…)

  • Technical and functional supports to all application software components delivered in Production

  • Corrective and Evolutive maintenance

  • Administrate re-usable software components and updates the related bill of material

Appreciated Knowledge

  • RPA Plateforms (UI Path, Microsoft Power Platform, Jitbit Macro-Recorder, Automation Anywhere, etc...)

  • Languages (e.g. Angular x, Java x, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, C#, VBA)

  • SOA and MOA (REST, SOAP, XML et JSON) architecture

  • Security protocols (Oauth2, OpenID, SAML 2.0, JWT)

  • Versionning Management Tools (GIT, Bitbucket) and continuous Integration / continuous delivery (Jenkins, Sonar)

  • Automation of application creation - package building, including compiling, linking, and packaging the code (Gulp, Gradle)

  • Agile methodology and related tools (Jira, Confluence…)
