Reporting to the Demand and Supply Manager, he/she will manage a group of Vendors and products with the goal to ensure a good level of stock and service level in line with the business needs.
He/She will work in the Planning team following the activities of forecasting, planning goods, guarantee a good stock in collaboration with others Departments as Finance, Sales and Marketing.

He/She will work with Vendors in order to obtain the best performance.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

General Responsabilities:

• Guarantee material procurement in line with business needs in terms of service level and stock value;

• Responsible for the quality of the sales forecast in volumes and values working together with Sales, Marketing and Finance;

• Analyse of excess and obsolete/aging inventory; take appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance;

• Work with Vendors in order to obtain the best possible performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, quality, lead-time, and flexibility;

• Support and relate with all others department as Sales, Customer Service and Warehouse.

• Service level

• Stock coverage

• Supplier service level

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

Technical Skills:

• Degree in Management Engineering with experience in material planning 

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular on Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of SAP and data analysis tools

• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken

Personal Competencies

• Ownership and problem solving attitude, result oriented, teamwork attitude, good communication skills and courage complete the profile
