Senior Events and People Engagement Executive

Telford Based (may require travel to support our regional teams)

Salary – Up to £35k per annum (DOE)

Hours of Work – Monday to Friday

Lyreco are the market leader in Workplace Solutions and specialise in providing workplace solutions to businesses globally, across a variety of sectors and we are looking for a Senior Events and People Engagement Executive to join our People Engagement & Communications team.

Being part of a team of 3, we are looking for someone with a strong background in events and managing projects and who wants a company they can grow in and who will allow you to drive your ideas.


As a Senior Events and People Engagement Executive your responsibilities are:

  • To be responsible for developing and delivering a creative and innovative annual programme of events across the company
  • To support the Head of People Engagement & Communications in planning engagement campaigns, initiatives, and strategies
  • Develop events that elevate the experience and drives the engagement of our 1300+ people, including leadership and management events, social and team building events
  • Support our external Marketing team in delivering our flagship engagement event - our annual convention - which is a unique in-person experience that brings together our leadership team, suppliers, and team members over a series of days to connect, learn, recognise, and reward.
  • To support with two-way communication initiatives through staff surveys and other channels.
  • Develop communications that can be shared with both internal and external audiences that highlight our culture and values.

The ideal Senior Events and People Engagement Executive will have:

  • Previous experience of working in an internal event planning and engagement role
  • Degree Level qualification or equivalent
  • Worked with process-based methods for effective project management like PRINCE2
  • Experience with working with Canva, Adobe or similar design software
  • Resilience and be able to work on multiple projects at any one time, often to tight deadlines
  • Experience of working with third party organisations, i.e., caterers, venues, entertainment etc
