As a Workwear Product Manager, you are responsible for the commercial development of the designated product area managing a range of products and suppliers to achieve Company goals. Your challenge also includes involvement in the production of the annual catalogue and in all promotional activities included into the yearly marketing Plan.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsibility of Protective Workwear family from a Purchasing, Marketing and Regulatory point of view;

  • Study market share, market evolution or trends to define the strategy on your product range in line with Intersafe goals taking into account the Group decisions;

  • Negotiate with suppliers the purchasing conditions and the required contracts;

  • Negotiate with supplier and implement marketing plan for all products of the assigned family while optimize spending and maximize supplier’s contributions;

  • Create effective the lay-out of catalogue and flyers with the related database on time according to company schedule;

  • Calculate the appropriate tariffs and price setting in order to reach turnover and margin goals, taking into account competition analysis;

  • Analyse economic results (sales, margin, evolution, promotions…) of the assigned product range to ensure achievement of Intersafe goal on time;

  • Cooperate with other Departments in task related to the assigned family;

  • Support Sales Force, both SMB and Large Accounts, with training and technical back ground;

  • Cooperate with Safety Marketing Team in all activities needed to manage and expand the business.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • University degree, preferably in Textile Engineering or Business Administration or relevant working experience in the sector;

  •  Fluent in Italian and English;

  •  Experience in Product Management of Protective Workwear is an asset;

  •  Knowledge of Protective Workwear legislation, certification and market;

  •  Strong negotiating skills;

  • Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal and analytical skills;

  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure;

  • Available to travel;

  • PC literate (Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
