Lyreco joined the UN Global Compact in 2004 and officially made CSR a pillar of its business in 2012 through its first CSR strategy, Eco-Future 2012-2018.
Since 2019, a new strategy is on track which extends our commitments: Ethics and Sustainability in the Supply Chain, Governance and risk management and Contribution to the Community are now dedicated guiding principles besides Environment, Economics and People.
6 guiding principles
To promote and develop an ever more sustainable offer and provide excellence for all our customers.
Mitigate Lyreco environmental impacts, in all our activities, from our suppliers to our customers with a strong focus on the fight against Climate change.
Develop a sustainable and ethical preferred supply base that enhances Lyreco's competitiveness, innovation and the success of our customers.
Conduct risk and compliance management programmes as an integrated part of the business.
Offer the greatest employee experience so that our people can delight our customers.
Make Education the core of the Lyreco Charity Programme at global and local levels.
Lyreco Materiality Matrix
In 2017, a materiality matrix involving our main stakeholders has raised additional challenges that have led us to extend our Corporate Social Responsibility commitments. 11 priorities issues have been identified. They are the foundation of our 6 guiding principles that have become effective in January 2019.
