Seller assessment

A strict process to evaluate our sellers and make sure they comply with our sustainability requirements.

Each seller on our marketplace has been evaluated through the Lyreco sustainability assessment process.

CSR labels or certification

If a seller is B-Corp or Ecovadis certified, it is considered as sustainable and approved by Lyreco to sell on the marketplace platform. If not, the seller must go through the questionnaire phase.

Lyreco Sustainability questionnaire

All non-certified sellers must complete the Lyreco sustainability questionnaire, which covers the 3 fields of action for a company related to CSR: People, Governance and Planet. For each of these categories, they score a certain number of points regarding the proves they can bring about their initiatives.

  1. People
    a. Health & Safety standard
    b. Social initiatives

  2. Governance
    a. CSR commitments
    b. Ethic code employee and suppliers

  3. Planet
    a. Environment standard
    b. Activity Impact
    c. Carbon footprint

In the end, if the score results as equal or higher than 20 points/100, the seller is allowed to sell their products on the marketplace. On the contrary, if their score is below 20 points, the seller will not be approved for onboarding.

Continuous improvement

Continuous improvement

Our methodology is designed to evolve and be refined. Our evaluation scale (minimum points, scope of responsibility of salespeople, etc.) is already demanding, and will become more and more restrictive once our partners have become familiar with the solution in order to adapt and improve.
