Lyreco has been awarded the Platinum medal by Ecovadis, the world's largest and most trusted independant provider of business sustainability ratings. The assessment covers the concrete actions and results achieved in the fields of environment, labor and human rights, sustainable procurement and ethics. The Platinum medal is the highest level of recognition in the Ecovadis score. With this new distinction, Lyreco ranks again in the top 1% of the 65,000 companies rated each year worldwide by Ecovadis.

This year more than ever, Ecovadis recognized the concrete actions implemented to provide our customers with products and solutions that help them to reduce their workplace’s environmental impact.

EU Ecolabel, FSC, Nordic Swan… we privilege internationally recognized labels that are easy to identify. We also select country-specific eco-labels when these are trust-worthy, such as the Blue Angel in Germany.

Our solutions to collect used products are available in 25 countries. By 2025, we aim to provide true circular, renewable alternatives to help our customers to reduce their waste and environmental impact.
A commitment shared with our suppliers
This year, Ecovadis particularly recognized the way we engaged our suppliers on our journey to lower our impact on the environment.
- 100% of Lyreco product manufacturers in risk countries are audited each year by recognized audit firms, directly on site. In 2020, our level of requirement has remained equal. Its scope has been extended to the protection of employees’ health in factories in response to the COVID-19 situation.
- Sustainability is a major evaluation criteria of the Lyreco suppliers performance improvement programme. This accounts for ¼ of the rates, at equal level with Competitiveness, Category Management and Logistics.
