Lyreco maintains its level of commitment to the Ecovadis score

Lyreco CSR long term commitment to sustainability is regularly assessed and analyzed by accredited certification bodies to attest to our serious and progressive approach to Environmental, Social and Governance issues.

One of these internationally recognized and trustful organisations, Ecovadis, has just awarded Lyreco a gold medal with a score of 73/100 for the 7th consecutive year, which places us in the top 2% of companies assessed.

As an internationally recognized sustainability rating company, Ecovadis is used by a wide range of International Companies for the selection of their suppliers.​​

In 2021, Ecovadis rated 90,000 companies. Lyreco earned the gold medal award, with a 73/100 score for the 7th consecutive year, which places us on the top 2% of companies assessed.

A rated methdology

Ecovadis issues a yearly ranking​ that they achieved assessing companies on 4 fields:​​

In each field, they analyze concrete actions and results  with a 360° approach that also takes into account media coverage & due diligence database .

The rating methodology is based on international referentials ​and led with strong cooperation with external trusty-third parts such as NGOs and international sustainability initiatives (like UN Global compact)​.

Each company ends with a score/100.

4 levels of recognition

Platinum medal was introduced in 2020 to distinguish the top 1% companies, scoring between 73 & 100. Since January 2022, the minimum score to obtain the Platinium medal raised at 75, because companies tend to improve their score.​

No medals is given to companies who score below 47/100.

Towards a positive impact on planet, people and progress

In the near future, Lyreco aims to ensure the completion of their objectives in terms of, amongst others:

  • Minimising CO2 impact,
  • Developing circular products and solutions,
  • Social and community engagement

To this end, Lyreco is working now and in the long term to advance their commitment to positive impact through honest and transparent communication of their sustainability progress.
