Job Highlights

• 5+ years of experience in retail buying & merchandise
• Retail buying / Purchasing / Merchandising / Supplier Management
• E=commerce / B2B / Digital Marketing / SEO & SEM

Primary Duties:

• Managing the team selecting products to merchandise and sell across Lyreco's B2B sales channels whilst keeping good relationships with existing suppliers.
• Analysing customer buying patterns, searching for new products and suppliers for future products.
• Assess the competitive market with respect to trends, marketing & product strategy; reacting to ensure market leadership, setting prices and managing Gross Profit and Back End Programs.
• Lead the coordination between suppliers, logistics, sales, customer service and direct marketing teams
• Working closely on and communicating Lyreco country strategy externally and internally
• Developing seasonal promotion strategies.
• Leading the team in charge of Lyreco's e-commerce platform and traditional product catalogues.
• Liaising regularly and closely with Lyreco's Head Office in France to align local and Group led priorities
   

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications are preferred.
• Extensive experience in product selection and merchandising.
• Knowledge of retail, ecommerce, purchasing, merchandising and supplier management skills.
• A proven track record of leading a large team of people.
• Dynamic and analytical.
• Exceptional English both written and verbal
• Proficient in all Microsoft packages, experience of working with an ERP such as SAP is highly beneficial
