Lyreco Thailand has certified ISO45001:2018

Lyreco Thailand is happy to achieve ISO 45001 certification.

Our journey to accreditation began almost two years ago, with the validation of the move to the National Distribution Centre, when the management team under the leadership of David RECORD

, reaffirmed its commitment to a continuous improvement in all matters relating to Occupational Health and Safety for its employees, customers, suppliers and the public, by achieving ISO 45001 certification in the same year as the NDC move.

The management team identified that a well-designed and well implemented ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety management system should be one of the key pillars of Lyreco Thailand’s 2020 sustainability strategy, allowing us to both reduce workplace illness and injury with increased productivity but also to differentiate Lyreco as an international leader in the competitive Thai market.

As we worked towards the certification, with the training, risk analysis and implementation of new processes, we identified the current occupational risks at Lyreco and identified opportunities to improve our overall safety standard in the future.

This ISO 45001 accreditation puts Lyreco in a special category of business in Thailand, with a level of excellence acknowledged worldwide as proof that we are a sustainable, safe, reliable and pioneering business.

With every department at Lyreco participating in this accreditation and employing qualified Safety Officers, this was real team effort and as QSS Manager, I proudly say "Thank you" to all my colleagues, to Lyreco for backing this opportunity
