Product Compliance Manager

The Compliance Manager is in charge of organising the implementation, management and monitoring of product compliance, as well as the roll-out of policies, guidelines, and awareness activities – in line with the legal requirements and company strategy. 

The team is made up of 3 Compliance Managers: one in charge of Products, one of Data Protection and one of Ethics. 

Due to the launch of new Lyreco branded product categories, Lyreco would like to hire a new Product Compliance Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

The Compliance Manager ensures for her/his Product Compliance the implementation of the pillars that are required by law and/or company policies, i.e.

  • The management / follow-up of the Product Compliance risk mapping.

  • The management / follow-up of the Product Compliance  guidelines (e.g. Procedures, KPI, compliance registers).

  • The management / follow-up of relevant awareness / training sessions for employees, depending on the job duties.

  • The management / follow-up of the internal control and audit process of the Product Compliance.

The Compliance Manager coordinates and oversights activities in relation to the following:

  • The Legal requirements relating to Lyreco products (tests, labels…)

  • Support the countries and local teams in charge of the Product Compliance.

  • Act as ‘Lyreco Management’ point of contact for the subjects relating to the Lyreco products.

  • Build and maintain a dedicated repository, to answer to the queries of the stakeholders (e.g. customer tenders) when it comes to products compliance.

  • Provide support if an incident has occurred, report accordingly to the relevant parties, and follow-up the related corrective / preventive actions.

Qualifications & skills:
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience from similar positions, preferable within a distribution context (e.g. retailer or B2B distributor). Operational experience in Product Compliance management.

  • Fluent business English (written and spoken).

  • Strong customer driven mentality and good communication.

  • Analytical & proactive to solve issues.

  • Capacity and experience in working with cross-functional teams (e.g. IT, Business, Legal).

  • Computer literate - solid mastery of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
