Junior Sustainability Project Manager

In the role of Junior Sustainability Project Manager at Lyreco, responsibilities include overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of sustainability initiatives, delivering tailored trainings for stakeholders, and ensuring sustainability remains a central focus across all departments and countries.

Additionally, providing crucial support to Sustainability Managers & Director and collaborating with stakeholders to establish and enforce specific sustainable goals aligned with the Great Impact 2026 strategy are essential.

Key performance indicators encompass increased adoption of sustainable practices, enhanced stakeholder engagement.

This role is integral to Lyreco's overall mission Great Impact 2026 and contributes directly to its reputation as a socially and environmentally and governance conscious leader in the industry.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsibility for maintenance and development sustainability  in Lyreco.

  • Prepare and deliver sustainability trainings for stakeholders.

  • Support Sustainability Managers & Director in their ongoing work.

  • Ensure that sustainability is in the agenda of all departments and countries of Lyreco.

  • Cooperate with all stakeholders to setting and enforcing specific sustainable goals of the Great Impact 2026 strategy

Qualifications & Skills:
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Sustainability & Circular economy activities.

  • Proficient in PR and Communication Skills (preparing article, presentation, stories, public speaking, posts etc.)

  • Knowledge about other ESG topics (Sustainability procurement, Carbon Footprint, SDGs, Circular economy, CSRD) will be added value,

  • 1  year of project management experience independently running projects with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Highly collaborative and know how to work with cross-functional teams.

  • Highly organized, meticulous, autonomous, and highly collaborative.

  • Can pitch and convince different populations (customers, employees, shareholders).

  • Willingness to share knowledge, train others.

  • Agile when it comes to learning new tools / using new platforms

  • Sustainability background and are passionate about contributing to the progress of a large organization.

  • Fluent English – written and spoken.
