Assistant Manager/Senior Accountant – Finance Operations

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of debt collection to ensure timely collection, healthy receivables and achieve AR KPIs

  • Work closely with different internal parties in setting up standard financial operation process for new business models, resolving outstanding accounts/ disputes and take effective actions

  • Perform customer credit assessment

  • Support in monthly cashflow forecast, monthly closing and statutory audit activities

  • Liaise with regional/global finance team on any update

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and carry out initiatives for process improvement

  • Conducts meeting with management team on matters relating but not limited to customer payment’s behavior, credit risk analysis and collection issues

  • Support and participate on ad hoc projects

Requirement:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance related subjects

  • Professional accounting qualification is preferred

  • Minimum 5 years' experience, credit management is an advantage

  • Computer literacy, preferably with sound knowledge in SAP, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin

  • Proactive, outgoing, enthusiastic and sensitive to business changes/ needs

  • Ability to challenge status-quo, work under pressure independently and meet tight deadlines

  • Previous experience in handling accounting operations and accounts receivable management, with MNC exposure is an asset
