Social Media Executive

Telford

Salary : £20 - 25k per annum (DOE)

Hours of Work – Monday to Friday (min. 3 days per week office based)

Lyreco are the market leader in Workplace Solutions and specialise in providing workplace solutions to businesses globally, across a variety of sectors.

Due to an internal move, we are looking for a Social Media Executive to join our marketing team. 

You will be responsible for executing the social media strategy, developing original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand. You will be instrumental in increasing web traffic and customer engagement metrics, aligning them with the broader marketing strategies.

We are looking for someone who has a real passion for social media and is proficient with all major social media platforms and social management tools.

As a Social Media Executive your responsibilities will be:

• To implement our social media strategy and own the Lyreco content schedule across multiple channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram and YouTube through the creation of engaging content
• To analyse the performance of the social media paid and organic posts
• To research audience preferences and discover current and emerging trends
• To keep up to date with changes in social media tools, trends, and algorithms, constantly adapting the strategy and our tactics to maintain post and channel performance
• Create engaging text, image, and video content, liaising with our in-house design team for support.
• Create copy and content for blog, webpages, and digital ads
• Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
• Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers
• Liaise with key stakeholders across the Lyreco business to obtain and create content
• Interact with audience and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments
• Provide copy writing support to the wider marketing team as needed

The ideal Social Media Executive will:

• Have experience as a social media coordinator or similar role, preferably at a corporate level

• Expertise in multiple social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
• You must be able to demonstrate knowledge across all platforms at a business level, utilising a wealth of post types such as carousel, video, LinkedIn article, polls etc
• You must be able to utilise a wealth of social media marketing tools including but not exclusive to Facebook campaign manager, Facebook events manager, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn showcase pages, Lead Generation Forms etc
• Be a strong and confident communicator
• Be self-motivated with excellent self-management skills
