Job Description

Role summary:

Consistently acquire new business sales and develop an on-going new business pipeline, whilst achieving profit and growth targets through the effective management of a defined geographical base. Utilising best practice and being an ambassador of the Lyreco values and the Nespresso brand. Reporting directly into the Sales Manager responsible for the division, you will have a pro-active approach to generating new business and ensure the highest standards of service are delivered to customers, so that accounts are retained on a long-term basis.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Effectively grow a new customer base in order to exceed set machine/capsule targets.
  • Teleprospecting and pipeline generation and maintenance.
  • Consistently achieve and record a sufficient number of best practice customer facing visits.
  • Dedicate specific focus on cold calling and generating new business leads.
  • Actively apply knowledge of Nespresso Professional proposition, structure and service guarantees, in line with Lyreco best practice.
  • Establish and maintain effective methods of communication with Customers, Manager and colleagues, adhering to pre-agreed deadlines.
  • Effectively manage the all territory and customer data, utilising tools and reporting systems.
  • Deliver the best customer experience by minimising customer returns and credits.
  • Successful completion of all training courses, both internal and external.
  • Actively participate in meetings and form positive relationships with colleagues demonstrating    the company’s values of passion, excellence, respect and agility.
  • To comply with Company Quality, Health and Safety, Environmental and other policies, procedures and standards.
  • To undertake such other duties as may reasonably be requested by a manager/supervisor.
  • Deal with any ‘under performing’ accounts you have set up to ensure capsules are maintained.
  • Gain referrals and leads for your own area/ internal sales and also work with the Nespresso Business Manager (existing) to proactively target any additional sites linked to there portfolio of customers.
  • Promote the Lyreco Brand and source leads as such for respective sales teams.
