Digital Trade & Activation Manager

Location - Telford/Home-based with regular travel to Telford Head Office

Salary - Up to £43k per annum

As the Digital Trade & Activation Manager you will be responsible for driving four key areas of the digital strategy and be a key member of the Market team. 

Owning the Digital Implementation of our Product & Services Trade Plan, driving compliance with the digital rate card  ensuring all digital real estate is sold in line with the wider trade plan. Working closely with our key “A” suppliers to develop data partnerships and digital roadmaps, to ensure that all Marketing Funds are used for maximum benefit to drive our digital participation forward by at least 5% by the end of 2022.

Role specific:

  • Understanding of digital marketing platforms and communications, online trade planning and activation.
  • Expertise in planning and managing digital sales enabling campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of the evolving digital world in both demand and supply.
  • You will have an understanding of SEO - Google and Adobe Analytics and online paid advertising.

  • Excellent skills liaising with suppliers at all levels
  • First class IT and communication skills,
  • Practically minded: able to roll sleeves up and get stuck in!
  • Demonstrates ownership of assigned work and accepts responsibility for own actions, performance and results.
  • You will have a thorough understanding of the Digital Landscape with a minimum of 2 years of either e-commerce, Digital Trade Planning or Digital Sales from a B2B, Supplier or FMCG / Retail environment.
  • Demonstrates commitment and motivation to achieve goals and live up to expectations.
  • Commands excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A natural leader, with excellent negotiation skills, and an ability to win through a team.
