Business Development Manager - Ergonomics & Wellness at Work

Salary : Up to £40k (DOE) + company car & benefits

Hybrid Working

Monday-Friday

The Lyreco group is the European leader and the third largest distributor of workplace products and services in the world.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager - Ergonomics & Wellness at Work to join our team within our Head Office in Telford.  You will be an integral part of our Products & Services team supporting senior team members in driving commercial growth and profit.

As a Business Development Manager - Ergonomics and Wellness at Work your responsibilities are:

  • Analysing the local market, identifying targets in the portfolio of active customers and prospects
  • Building a development plan for growth
  • Identifying the customer needs and building the appropriate solutions (creation of marketing materials, customer argumentations).
  • Responsibility for the implementation and set up of new accounts
  • Supporting and training the sales force on the concerned categories
  • Develop Gap analysis for Ergonomic Solutions
  • Work with external partner to create E Learning Training tools for Sales Team
  • Manage Digital Marketing in conjunction with Marketing Insight and Procurement Team

The ideal Business Development Manager - Ergonomics and Wellness at Work will:

  • Previous demonstrable business development experience with strong negotiation skills
  • Experience of working with external suppliers to support promotions
  • Passionate about Health and Safety
  • Confident in ability to handle and present quotes and proposals. 
  • Understand legality of DSE Assessments (desirable)
  • Experience of selling ergonomic products (desirable)
  • Understanding of Health and Safety Legislation (desirable)
  • Experience of working within a B2B Buying model would be advantageous.
