Product Marketing Assistant

Provide support to marketing team , on a specific product range with the responsibility of updating all databases containing product & supplier information about the whole assortment and ensuring an efficient administrative flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce the Product Bible for the annual catalogue within the timeline by coordinating product codes, additions and deletions, product amendment forms, alternatives and forecasts
  • Maintain the SAP database - creation, modification and deletion of products and suppliers
  • Manage the Supplier Database - contacts, addresses ISO registration, marketing contributions
  • Manage supplier re-chase tasks for product & supplier data, contributions
  • Co-ordinate supplier mailings - e.g. Product selection
  • Distribute daily Service Level Reports and provide summary data in timely manner
  • Liaise closely with replenishment, warehouses, customer service and sales representatives to solve catalog product issues. Fast response with all technical product inquiries to ensure customer experience is not jeopardize
  • Liaise with vendors in timely manner for products issues, price discrepancies and handle substitute products details in case of extended delivery
  • Provide efficient support to Product Managers and answer queries in their absence.

Qualification & Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Marketing / Business Administration or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), supplier management skills, basic analytical skills, SAP user is added advantage
  • Experience working in FMCG / Consumer Product industry would be ideal
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work with numbers and attention to details
