Lyreco successfully acquires Staples Solutions’ business operations in Central & Nordic Europe
On March 19th, 2021 we communicated our intention to acquire Staples Solutions’ overall operations in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Austria and Poland, as well as Staples Solutions’ Central Shared Services (IT, eCommerce, Customer Experience, Merchandising, Supply Chain Planning and Finance) primarily located in Poland and The Netherlands.
Today we are pleased to announce that this acquisition is now approved and official.
This acquisition brings together two dynamic businesses and strengthens our combined industry-leading expertise across office supplies, print solutions, personal protective equipment, hygiene, coffee, and catering. Today’s agreement will also enable nearly 1,600 employees across various functions to join the Lyreco teams.
This is a great day for all parties involved. Both organisations share the same values and the same passion to delight our customers. Together, we will be stronger to deliver excellence in customer experience across Central and Nordic European markets.
